About the test

🗓️How early can I take it?

From 7 weeks of pregnancy. That's several weeks earlier than ultrasound, which can't reliably determine gender until 14 weeks.

🩸Who does the blood draw?

Alexis and Brenda are both certified phlebotomists, and one of them will do your draw right here in the studio — no separate lab visit. It takes just a few minutes, and you can add a 2D ultrasound to the same appointment. By appointment only.

🔬Who runs the test?

All laboratory analysis is performed by Peekaboo's CLIA-certified laboratory. We collect the sample; they run the analysis and issue your results.

📬How do I get my results?

Delivered to your phone in 1–2 business days. If you'd rather be surprised, we can send them to a friend or family member instead so they can plan a reveal for you.

📦What if my results are delayed?

Turnaround is typically 1–2 business days once the lab receives your sample, but that timing is an estimate and not a guarantee. Samples are shipped by a third-party carrier and analyzed by Peekaboo's laboratory, and Sweet 3D Baby is not responsible for shipping delays, carrier issues, weather, holidays, lab processing times, or any other delay outside our control. No refunds are issued for delayed results.

🩺Is this a medical test?

No. This is a non-diagnostic test intended for gender determination only. It isn't a substitute for the prenatal screening or genetic testing your doctor or midwife may recommend. Please talk to your provider about any clinical testing.
