Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to get a 3D ultrasound?

The ideal window for a 3D ultrasound is usually between 26 and 33 weeks. During this time, your baby has developed more facial features, and there’s still enough amniotic fluid for clear, beautiful images.

How long does a 3D ultrasound session take?

Sessions can last 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the package you choose. We take our time to make sure you get clear, memorable images of your little one.

Is 3D ultrasound safe for my baby?

Yes! 3D ultrasounds use sound waves, not radiation, making them safe for both you and your baby when performed by trained professionals.

Can I bring family and friends to the ultrasound?

Absolutely! Sweet 3D Baby welcome partners, siblings, and close family to share in the special experience. Just check our guest limit so everyone can enjoy comfortably.

What should I wear to my 3D ultrasound appointment?

Wear comfortable clothing, ideally something that makes it easy to expose your belly. Many parents choose a two-piece outfit for convenience. Please wear shorts underneath dresses.

Will I be able to see my baby moving?

Yes! 2D and 4D clips let you see your baby’s movements, smiles, and even yawns in real time. It’s a magical bonding experience you’ll never forget.

Can I get keepsakes from my 3D ultrasound?

Absolutely! We offer printed photos, digital images, and even heartbeat recordings that can be placed in plush keepsakes. Perfect for sharing or treasuring forever.

What if my baby isn’t in a good position for pictures?

Don’t worry! We’ll work with you, and sometimes a short walk, gentle movement, or a light snack can help your baby shift into a better position. If needed, we can reschedule to capture the perfect view.
