OB Ultrasound Student Training
Hands-on ultrasound training designed for sonography students who want to improve their scanning skills, confidence, and technique in a real ultrasound studio environment.
Train with an experienced ARDMS Registered OB/GYN Sonographer and gain valuable hands-on practice outside of the classroom.

About the Training
Many sonography students struggle to get enough hands-on scanning time during school and clinical rotations. These training sessions are designed to help students gain additional practice and improve their scanning confidence. Students will work directly with an experienced OB/GYN sonographer and practice real-time scanning techniques in a supportive learning environment. Training focuses on developing strong scanning fundamentals, improving probe control, and understanding fetal anatomy.
What Students Will Learn
During these sessions, students will practice:
• Probe positioning and scanning technique
• Knobology and image optimization
• First trimester ultrasound basics
• Fetal anatomy orientation
• Biometry measurements (BPD, HC, AC, FL)
• Improving image quality
• Tips for efficient scanning and finding anatomy
